Meet Our Team

Our team of veterinarians and technicians are dedicated to providing top-notch care for your pets. Our team includes:

  • Dr. Miguel Rivera: Dr. Rivera is a proud native of Puerto Rico who completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University in Alabama. He has a special interest in surgery and has the most up-to-date laparoscopy equipment and services.
  • Dr. Ina Hernandez: Dr. Hernandez obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and went on to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University in Alabama. Her clinical interests include internal and preventive medicine.
  • Dr. Yeimarie Quintana-Melendez: Dr. Quintana was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in Indiana. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine include surgery, preventative medicine, and client education.
  • Dr. Brandi Englehardt: Dr. Englehardt is a relief vet who comes in once a week to give our doctors a break. She is native to Florida and graduated from Auburn University. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is cats, cats, cats!
  • Dr. Adriana Lopez-Diaz: Dr. Lopez-Diaz was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in Central Florida. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Her professional interests include dermatology, dentistry, parasitology, and exotics.

Practice Manager

Our practice manager, Gladys Usera, has been with us since the start in 2008, starting as a receptionist and working her way up to become our practice manager. She is dedicated to ensuring that every animal that comes through our doors receives top-notch care and exceptional service.
