Staff Accommodation and Compassion
The staff at Avalon Family Vet were praised for their exceptional accommodation and compassion towards pets, particularly for pets experiencing anxiety. Didi was commended for her commitment to making the visit smooth and comfortable for Valena's pup. Similarly, Savannah's puppy Archer was made to feel comfortable with the staff's gentle approach, receiving safe treats, belly rubs, and taking the time to make him feel at ease.
Unfair Pricing and Billing
Casey Hewitt Long had a disappointing experience with the health certificate for their pets' move to Hawaii. They were charged an unexpected $300 for a service, and the doctor initially refused to show the price breakdown. Eventually, the doctor allowed the client to pay the original $115 price. Jessica Elliott also had issues with high pricing, comparing Avalon Family Vet's prices to other local vets.
Care for Senior Pets and Customer Service
Yanirah Lopez praised Avalon Family Vet for their care towards her 17-year-old blind and deaf Peekapoo. Danielle Fish commended the staff for their friendly and courteous service, as well as their transparency with pricing. Hannah Rose, on the other hand, felt frustrated with the office's handling of her cat's appointment, particularly the misadministration of the rabies shot.
Unfavorable Experience with a Vet Technician
Jessica Elliott had an uncomfortable experience with a vet technician who showed signs of dislike for cats. The technician made the client feel uneasy and misinformed her about her cat's behavior. This experience led Jessica to conclude that Avalon Family Vet is not the right place for cat owners.
