Quality of Care
The quality of care provided by Foxwood Veterinary Hospital has been mixed, with some reviewers expressing satisfaction while others have had negative experiences. Janie Seymour and Zachery Avila praise the compassionate and knowledgeable care provided by Dr. Carolyn, and Zachery Avila also appreciates the reasonable prices and personal attention given to their pets.
Communication Issues
However, some reviewers have expressed frustration with the communication style of the staff. Samantha Runyon feels that the hospital prioritizes making money over getting to know the pet and their owner, and objects to the requirement of an exam and X-ray to obtain cough medication. Iron Liberty was abruptly and dismissively terminated as a client after asking a question about their dog's dermatitis, and Violet Sogn was unhappy with the cost and service provided for a bee sting treatment.
Racism Allegation
Angela Blackmon notes that one of the receptionists had a problem with Mexicans, pointing to an instance of racism.
Unsettling Experiences
Scott Watkins has had unusual experiences with his pets making discomforting noises during nail trims and routine examinations, leading him to question the care provided and seek alternative veterinary services.
