For over 40 years, Northside Animal Hospital has been providing comprehensive, compassionate care to the pets of Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, including Bow, Candia, Londonderry, and Goffstown. We take pride in being a privately owned and operated veterinary practice, which allows us to deliver individualized veterinary care and personal client service. Our mission is to be your other family doctor for years to come.

Our Story

Northside Animal Hospital was established with the goal of providing exceptional veterinary care to the community. Over the years, we have expanded our services and facilities to meet the growing needs of our clients and their pets. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we chose to look to the future and broke ground on a hospital expansion and remodel project in 2020. This project has resulted in increased space, a brand-new surgery suite, direct digital X-ray, and soundproofing for the comfort of anxious and reactive patients. Every detail of this project has been designed to give your pets the highest standard of care and a positive experience at our veterinary hospital.

Veterinary Care at Northside Animal Hospital

At Northside Animal Hospital, we evaluate each case to meet the unique needs of the pet and their family. We understand that every pet is an individual with diverse needs that vary by species, age, breed, and lifestyle. That's why we enjoy getting to know you and your pets on a personal basis to help you make the best choices for them.

Your pet's experience in the hospital is important to us, and we take great care to ensure a positive and comfortable visit for all. As pet parents and healthcare professionals, our mission is to provide your pets with the standard of veterinary care that we want for our own animal family members. We offer personalized recommendations for a healthy-pet lifestyle and the preventive care services needed to maintain it. When your pet becomes ill, we'll be there for you, too, with convenient pharmacy options and state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment to help them feel better fast.

What Makes Us Unique?

At Northside Animal Hospital, we believe in providing personalized, compassionate care for each pet. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all work-ups or broad recommendations. Each pet is an individual with diverse needs that vary by species, age, breed, and lifestyle. Our team of experienced veterinarians and staff are dedicated to getting to know you and your pets on a personal basis to help you make the best choices for them.

As a reliable community resource in Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas for over 40 years, we're proud to serve generations of local families and newcomers alike. We strive to be "your other family doctor" with competency in treating a diverse array of companion pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, other small mammals, and reptiles. At a time where endless information is available at our fingertips, having access to a trustworthy local resource is invaluable. We're here to help your animal family members live the fullest, healthiest lives possible.

Our Team

Our team of veterinarians and staff at Northside Animal Hospital are dedicated to providing the highest quality of veterinary care to our patients. Our veterinarians are experienced in treating a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to exotic pets.

Dr. Leslie Agulnick is a native of Massachusetts and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She worked in molecular biology and immunology for several years before deciding to combine her love of science with her love of animals. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Agulnick has a particular interest in animal behavior, exotic pets and internal medicine. She lives in Raymond, New Hampshire, with her husband, son, two Golden Retrievers, cat, two rabbits and many fish! When not busy working, she enjoys time with her family and reading.

Dr. Kathy Coughlin is a native of The Granite State and loves to call NH home. She attended school at St. Joseph's college, graduating with a BA of Biology, and then obtained her veterinary degree from Michigan State University where she graduated in 1998. After vet school, she practiced for a year in MI then moved back to New England to be closer to family. While not at work, Dr. Coughlin enjoys walking on local trails, visiting with family and friends and sitting down with a good book. Dr. Coughlin currently has two adopted cats named Olivia and Ellie.

Dr. Patrick Hampson is a long-time team member of Northside, originally coming on staff as an Assistant who quickly advanced as a Technician while completing his undergrad. A recent graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, we are delighted that Dr. Hampson chose to return to his home state of New Hampshire and join Northside Animal Hospital. Outside of the animal hospital, Dr. Hampson enjoys spending time with pets (two cats, a gecko, and a snake!) outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, and discovering local coffee shops and vineyards.
