Our Story

Our clinic was founded in 2004 by Dr. David Smiley, a passionate and dedicated veterinarian with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Smiley's journey into veterinary medicine was not a traditional one. He started his career as a camera man and professor before pursuing his dream of becoming a veterinarian. After completing his education at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Smiley moved to New Hampshire and established the Auburn Small Animal Mobile Veterinary Practice. As his practice grew, he realized the need for a home base and thus the Smiley Veterinary Clinic was born.
