Staff and Care
The staff at the Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital are highly praised for their caring and compassionate nature. They take the time to explain treatment options and are not pushy when it comes to expensive treatments. The staff is also accommodating and went above and beyond to help one reviewer's dog who needed stitches removed.
Positive Experience
One reviewer had a positive experience with Dr. Christiansen and the entire "pawesome" team, who helped their dog recover from a leg injury. The team provided excellent customer service and TLC, and the dog is now back to normal.
Negative Experience with Dr. Perez
However, one reviewer had a negative experience with Dr. Perez, who was judgmental and showed no concern for their dog. Dr. Perez was rushed and barely answered any questions, despite being the only other pet in the building.
Negative Experience with Dr. Smith and ICU Care
Another reviewer had a terrible experience with Dr. Smith and the ICU care at the hospital. Despite being told that Dr. Smith was a good cardiologist, the reviewer felt that their dog was not receiving proper care and was not given the option to intubate their dog, even though they were willing to pay for it. The reviewer felt that the hospital prioritized money over their dog's life and did not provide adequate ICU care.
