Care for your pet, as if it were our own
Welcome to Bellevue Animal Hospital, a family-owned and operated small animal clinic that has been serving Nashville and its surrounding areas for over 40 years. Our owners, Drs. Jeff and Susan Abelt, have dedicated their lives to caring for animals, and their passion and expertise shine through in everything they do.
Our Story
Our journey began when Dr. Jeff and Dr. Susan Abelt met at veterinary school over 30 years ago. Their love for animals has been a constant throughout their lives, and their four grown children share their passion. Their home is a small farm, where they live with their dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. When they're not tending to their own animals, they enjoy training and showing their Collies and Italian Greyhounds.
Our Team
As veterinarians, Dr. Jeff and Dr. Susan Abelt have spent their careers helping animals and their owners. With over 30 years of combined experience, they've developed a deep understanding of the needs of animals and the importance of providing exceptional care. Their dedication to their work is rivaled only by their love for their own family, four grown children, and their menagerie of pets.
