At Hondo Veterinary Hospital, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Hondo and the surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients. We want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. Our hospital opened its doors in 1943 and moved to our current location in 1978. We're located at 2709 19th Street in Hondo, and we have ample space for parking within a safe, low traffic area for your pet. We are a full service mixed animal practice. Our Veterinarians

• David Galewsky, DVM - Veterinarian/Owner

David Galewsky purchased Hondo Veterinary Hospital in 2016. He graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He worked in Marble Falls for three and a half years before coming to Hondo. He enjoys everything about mixed animal practice, from cats to bulls. He has a beautiful wife named Maggie and two crazy boys, Wyatt and Lyle, and a daughter, Wren. In his free time he enjoys running and spending time with his family at his parents ranch. He has a dog, a cat, two horses, a herd of Dorper sheep, and a bunch of Angus cattle.

• Taylor Tagle, DVM - Associate Veterinarian

Taylor Smith grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she played volleyball. She went on to receive her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She loves everything about mixed animal practice, and cats and horses have a special place in her heart. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, spending time outdoors, and travelling.
