Redbud Veterinary Services, formerly known as K9Movement Improvement LLC, is a holistic veterinary practice specializing in mobility services, including acupuncture, rehabilitation, spinal manipulation, and laser therapy. We also provide general medicine, alternative therapies, and in-home euthanasia. Our mission is to improve the function, mobility, and quality of life for dogs using drug-free techniques.

About Dr. Jan Weiher
Dr. Jan Weiher, our lead veterinarian, has extensive experience in integrative medicine. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and received her acupuncture training in 1999. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and Certified Veterinary Chiro-Practitioner. Dr. Jan has been actively involved in dog sports since 1993 and is an AKC agility judge. Her unique blend of veterinary skills and passion for dog sports sets her apart in providing comprehensive care for your pets.
Mobility Evaluation
If your dog is slowing down or experiencing mobility issues, we can help. Our mobility evaluation includes a thorough orthopedic exam to identify limitations or issues. We will then present an individualized treatment plan and perform needed therapies, such as acupuncture, LASER therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, chiropractic-like spinal manipulation, and joint mobilizations. Follow-up therapeutic exercises will be provided to increase your dog's strength and mobility.
