Kingston Springs Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Chris Shew in 1989. Our clinic has been serving the pets of Kingston Springs and the surrounding areas since its inception. We take great pride in the excellent quality of care provided to every pet that walks through our doors. We look forward to taking the best care of your pets.

Meet The Team

Dr. Chris Shew received his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1980 and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He opened Kingston Springs Animal Hospital in December of 1989 and has lived in Kingston Springs since early 1990. His interests include fishing, hiking, travel, and spending time with his family. He is a member of Kingston Springs United Methodist Church.

Dr. Sera Wheeler grew up on a farm near Narrows of the Harpeth here in Kingston Springs. She now lives in Charlotte with her husband, son, and two daughters. Dr. Wheeler received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from UT Martin, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, and has worked at Kingston Springs Animal Hospital since March of 2016. Her hobbies include spending time on the lake, horseback riding, fishing, or pretty much anything outdoors.

Dr. Morgan Wilters grew up in Nashville, TN playing competitive tennis and showing horses. Dr. Wilters received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Belmont University in 2014 and graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Health Sciences in 2018. She enjoys horseback riding, playing tennis, kickboxing, spending time with her adopted greyhound Jazz, and cheering on the Nashville Predators.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to cater to your pet's needs, including Wellness Exams, Dentistry, Surgery, and Health Certificates for travel. Our Wellness Exams include an overall examination of your pet's health, vaccinations, and laboratory tests. Our Dentistry services involve cleaning the plaque and tartar off of your pet's teeth under general anesthesia. We also perform various surgeries including neuters, spays, mass removal, and laceration repair. For travel, we can assist you in obtaining a health certificate for your pet.
