SPCA Tampa Bay is a non-profit, animal welfare agency that has been serving the community for over 83 years. Our mission is to transform the lives of animals through passionate collaboration with our community. Our Services

At SPCA Tampa Bay, we offer a range of services to help animals in need. Our shelter is an open-admission facility, which means that we take in all animals, regardless of their breed, size, or health. Our animal shelter is home to dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotic animals, and livestock, such as goats and pigs. Our pet hospital provides veterinary care, including immunizations, medical care, and enrichment programs for the animals in our care.

Our Adoption Process

Our adoption process is designed to match the best interests of the animals with the needs of potential adopters. Our knowledgeable adoption staff and volunteers work closely with families to find the perfect furry friend. We also offer a variety of services to support adopters, including post-adoption support, training resources, and access to our animal hospital.
