Poor Customer Service and Unprofessional Behavior
Riverside Veterinary Hospital has received two negative reviews from clients who had a poor experience at the clinic. The first reviewer, Rosanna Michel, gave the clinic 2 stars and reported feeling mistreated and lacked compassion from the staff. She visited the clinic with her dog to get a diagnosis and treatment plan for two lumps near her dog's breast. The doctor saw her dog for only 2 minutes and told her that the lumps could be cancerous, but the assistant who brought her the treatment plan was unprofessional and rude. The assistant told her that she would have to sign a consent form and that she could afford, which came across as insensitive.
The second reviewer, J. Bb, gave the clinic 1 star and had a similar experience. Her dog went in for a dental cleaning and grooming, but the procedure was botched. The clinic shaved her dog's entire coat, which is against the breed's standard, and extracted nine teeth instead of the four that were supposed to be extracted. The clinic also charged her an additional fee for the extra extractions. Her dog's teeth looked clean, but six months later, he started showing signs of tarter buildup again, and a dental vet confirmed that the cleaning was a sham job.
