Our mission statement is "CARE, COMPASSION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SERVICE. WITH INTEGRITY, " and we strive to uphold these principles in every interaction we have with our clients and their pets. Our team, led by Dr. David Knox, MS, DVM, CCRP, CVA, is dedicated to fostering a sense of trust and understanding with each pet parent we encounter.

Dr. Knox, a native Southern Californian, earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama in 1992. He also holds a Master's Degree in Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology and a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona. His background in mixed animal practice has given him a practical and rational approach to medicine, and he believes strongly in the importance of using his natural senses and intuition as diagnostic tools.

Dr. Knox has a special interest in Animal Physical Rehabilitation and an integrative approach to veterinary care. He earned his certification from the University of Tennessee for Animal Physical Rehabilitation in 2013, making him one of the few veterinarians in San Diego County to hold the CCRP designation.
