About Our Clinic

Daphne Animal Hospital has served the Eastern Shore area for over 40 years. Dr. Stephen Hardyman acquired the practice from Dr. Nelson in 1992 and has been serving the public since. Dr. Hardyman graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He was acting Rabies officer for Baldwin and Dale Counties in Alabama for a combined nine years. He practiced both large and small, and also exotic medicine before coming to the Eastern Shore. He was executive and committee member for Mobile VMA for eight years. He helped create the Baldwin VMA. He has also served as a scout parent and committee member for many years. He was also involved with his kids in the Southern Waters Aquatic Team for over 15 years.

Dr. Hardyman has been married for 36 years, has three wonderful kids, two adorable dachshunds-Dasher and Scout, and four silly cats, Stella, Yoda, Tiger, and Merri. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their owners in our community. We look forward to serving you and your beloved pet.
