Founded in 1981 by Dr. Lomax Teal, our hospital has a rich history dating back to 1853. The original building was a plantation outbuilding that was remodeled and transformed into a veterinary hospital. Over the years, we have grown and expanded to meet the changing needs of our community. In 1991, Dr. Alex "Steve" Steverson purchased the hospital and has continued to build upon the legacy of quality care.
