Our Founders
Our founders, Dr. John Kable and Dr. Nicholas Herrick, have deep ties to the Carroll County community. With a shared history and a passion for veterinary care, they merged their practices to form Airpark Animal Hospital, a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital specializing in small animal medicine.
Our History
Our history dates back to 1932 when Dr. Charles H. Kable, Dr. John Kable's father, graduated from the University of Toronto, Guelph campus. Dr. Charles H. Kable went on to serve the Carroll County community for over 50 years. In 1952, Dr. Arthur Peck joined Dr. Kable, and later formed the partnership "Kable and Peck, " whose primary focus was farm animal work, but also treated pets at the Bond Street office. Dr. Herrick joined Dr. Peck in 1979 and then purchased the practice when Dr. Peck retired in 1985. In 1997, Dr. Kable and Dr. Herrick decided to merge their businesses and form Airpark Animal Hospital.
