Caring for the bond between pets and their companions
Northwest Animal Hospital has a rich history dating back to 1972, when Dr. Jimmy Lloyd, a Texas A&M graduate, opened the practice. Since then, we have grown into a four-doctor practice dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care to nearly every type of companion animal. Dirty and Unhygienic Environment
One reviewer, Cheri Pool, shared a negative experience at the clinic. She waited 45 minutes to see the triage tech and was disappointed to find the exam rooms dirty. She even witnessed dog hair on the exam table despite the tech wiping it down. The sink in the back area had fecal swabs and lab test things in it, making it difficult for her to wash up. She felt uneasy and left the clinic, expressing disappointment and frustration with the experience.
Excellent Customer Service
On the other hand, three reviewers, Audrey Maaks, Joni Tosill, and Venessa Anderson, praised the clinic's staff for their friendly, helpful, and caring nature. They appreciated the attention given to their pets and themselves, and felt comfortable with the clinic's reasonable pricing and lack of pushy sales tactics.
Poor Experience with Emergency Care
Markoth Comrade shared a disturbing experience with the clinic's emergency care services. Although the first visit with a vet was friendly, the second visit for an emergency was marred by poor service, unfriendly staff, and a sense of judgment. The reviewer felt that the vets were unprofessional and insensitive, and ultimately paid $200 for services that did not meet their expectations.
Overall Experience
While some reviewers had positive experiences with the clinic's staff and services, others were disappointed with the dirty and unhygienic environment, poor emergency care, and unprofessional demeanor of some staff members.
