Established in 1947 by Dr. Walter France as Bradenton Small Animal Hospital, our practice has a rich history of serving the Bradenton community and its four-legged residents for over seven decades. Our founder, a World War I veteran, initially operated a mixed animal practice before transitioning to focus solely on small animals. In 1957, Dr. Clair Butler took over the reins, steadfastly guiding the practice for the next 54 years and fostering its growth into one of the busiest pet care facilities in the area.
In 2011, Dr. Laurel Logas became the proud new owner of Bradenton Small Animal Hospital, soon to be rechristened as Bradenton Veterinary Hospital to reflect the evolving language used by pet owners. Dr. Logas brought about a wave of modernization, introducing state-of-the-art digital full-body and dental radiology, ultrasound, pain management, and a cutting-edge laboratory. She also expanded the range of services to include modern dentistry and changed the name to better align with the growing trend of considering pets as family members.
Under Dr. Logas's leadership, the hospital moved into a spacious, 8,700 square-foot facility in December 2015, complete with two surgery suites, a dedicated dental suite, six exam rooms, and a larger waiting area designed to keep clients comfortable. With three or four doctors working daily, the practice has been able to significantly reduce wait times for walk-ins compared to the days when Dr. Butler owned the practice. In 2014, the practice began seeing appointments, and the number of veterinarians grew from two to four under Dr. Logas's guidance.

Pet Hospital Hours
Our practice is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, allowing us to accommodate the busy schedules of our clients and their pets.
