About Our Veterinary Hospital
Pet Calls Mobile Veterinary Clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Heather Shuey. Dr. Shuey is a 1999 graduate of Kansas State Veterinary School and has been practicing in the Kansas City area ever since. She has held the position of assistant veterinarian in several practices and was medical director at one clinic.
In 2017, Dr. Shuey realized her dream of owning her own mobile veterinary clinic. She purchased a mobile clinic from LaBoit, the company that customizes E-450 Ford trucks into mobile clinics personalized to the veterinarian's requirements.
Dr. Shuey's mobile clinic allows her to bring veterinary care to her clients' homes. She can perform well and sick exams, administer vaccines, provide complete dental care, perform minor surgery, offer laser therapy, and provide in-home euthanasia. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine with compassion and care.
