Veterinary Care Issues
Several reviewers have expressed dissatisfaction with the veterinary care provided by this clinic. One reviewer, Jen Martin, reported a negative experience after meeting with Dr. Exelby. She felt that Dr. Exelby was condescending and talked down to her, and that she was scolded for not using heartworm preventative on her dog. Additionally, the clinic failed to test her dog's blood for heartworms despite promising to do so.
Another reviewer, John E., had a disastrous experience with Dr. Exelby, who diagnosed his dog with terminal cancer without taking any lab tests. John was skeptical and requested lab tests and a biopsy, which ultimately revealed that the abscess was caused by an infection, not cancer.
Staff Issues
One reviewer, Breanne Armstrong, had a positive experience with Dr. Exelby and praised the office staff for their excellent care. However, another reviewer, John E., had a negative experience with Dr. Exelby's staff, feeling that she was condescending and dismissive.
Administrative Issues
Reviewer Jc Tucker mentioned several administrative issues, including long wait times for appointments with the practice owner vet, limited availability, and high pricing for services. They ultimately chose to take their dog elsewhere for better care at a lower cost.
