Oregon Veterinary Medical

The Oregon Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) is a professional organization that represents veterinarians and veterinary students in the state of Oregon. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of animals and to enhance the practice of veterinary medicine in Oregon.

History and Purpose

The OVMA was founded in 1954 to promote the interests of veterinarians in Oregon and to provide a platform for them to share knowledge, network, and work together to improve animal health and welfare. Today, we have over 1,000 members, comprising veterinarians in private practice, research, industry, and academia.
