Durham Valley Vets

Durham Valley Vets was established in 1997 by Dr. David Peterson. Envisioning owning his own practice, Dr. Peterson found the current location at 8398 Easton Rd. Ottsville, PA, which formerly housed a bicycle shop. At the time Dr. Peterson worked at Fort Dodge Animal Health, and worked in the evenings constructing the interior of the clinic. After designing and building rooms for appointments, surgery and hospitalized cats, and designating a kennel area for dogs, Dr. Peterson was ready to open his practice. Durham Valley Vets began with Dr. Peterson seeing evening appointments while he continued working at Fort Dodge. Once he had gained enough clients and built the practice, he was able to open full time. Over the years, the practice continues to evolve, especially with the addition of new equipment and technology that aids us in serving our clients. What started as a dream for Dr. Peterson has now grown into a successful small animal practice employing three doctors with a great support staff. We are happy to say that we've been in business for over 22 years, and hope to continue to serve the community for many more years to come.
