Our Services

Our state-of-the-art veterinary hospital is equipped with the latest technology and facilities to provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures, including in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor climate-controlled boarding kennels.

Meet Our Doctors

At Kay Animal Hospital, we are proud to have a team of experienced and dedicated veterinarians who are passionate about providing top-notch care to your pets. Our team includes:

• Dr. James E. Kay, a 1969 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, who has been practicing veterinary medicine in Douglas County for over 36 years.
• Dr. Michael Kay, who joined our practice in 2007, and is passionate about orthopedic surgery, cardiology, and ultrasonography.
• Dr. Cyd Greer, our feline expert, who earned her DVM from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and has a special interest in internal medicine and feline medicine.

Our Commitment

Hours of Operation

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with doctor hours from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We are also open on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. We are committed to being available to your pets when you need us most, even after normal business hours. If your pet is injured or requires emergency care, please do not hesitate to contact us.
