Our History

Founded by Dr. James Burns in 1969, the Rochester Equine Clinic has a rich history of providing world-class equine care to the New England region. Dr. Grant Myhre joined the clinic in 1978 and brought with him a wealth of experience in internal medicine. Over the years, the clinic has undergone numerous renovations and expansions, culminating in the current state-of-the-art facility we see today. Dr. Ron Vin joined the clinic in 2008, bringing his expertise in internal medicine, and Dr. Michael Myhre returned to the clinic in 2020 to work alongside his father.

• Nuclear Scintigraphy: Our nuclear scintigraphy services help diagnose and treat a range of equine conditions, including joint and musculoskeletal disorders.
