About Dr. Gerard A. Boston

Dr. Gerard Boston was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and raised in Gray, Louisiana. As a child, he spent time hunting and camping in the woods near his home, usually accompanied by a pet dog. After graduating from H.L. Bourgeois High School, he attended Nicholls State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animal Science. He then attended the Louisiana State School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1990. Dr. Gerard met Dr. Kristen Boston during his senior year of veterinary school at Apex Veterinary Hospital in Apex, North Carolina. Dr. Gerard lives with his family, including his wife, Dr. Kristen Boston, and their children, Luke and Claire, as well as their pets.

About Dr. Kristen B. Boston

Dr. Kristen Boston is a native of Munster, Indiana. She grew up loving animals, bringing home numerous stray pets. Some of these pets were adopted from the veterinarians she worked for during her junior high and high school years. She also spent time horseback riding and showed dogs. Dr. Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kristen specializes in small animal medicine, with a focus on internal medicine and surgical care. She is certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) and has undergone additional training in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic care. Dr. Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and pets, as well as outdoor activities like hiking and camping.
