Our History
Richter Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care to the North Texas communities of Arlington, Mansfield, and Kennedale since 2004. Dr. Richter opened the practice in a shopping center across from our current location, but quickly outgrew the space. In 2012, Dr. Richter built a new facility from the ground up to accommodate our clients and grow the Richter Animal Hospital team. In 2019, The Royal Pet Resort & Spa was born, which is a separate facility just a few steps across the parking lot, where we offer daycare, boarding, and grooming for the pets in our community and beyond - with easy drive-thru drop-off and pick-up!
Our Services
Richter Animal Hospital is a privately owned, full-service veterinary hospital that provides wellness visits, sick visits, in-hospital diagnostics, radiology, ultrasonography, dentistry, surgery, hospitalization, and urgent/emergency care. We recognize the importance of the human-animal bond and experience it every single day, whether helping clients and pets in our hospital or in our personal lives. We also know that budgeting for veterinary care can be stressful, which is why Richter Animal Hospital works hard to keep our prices reasonable, even during times of economic uncertainty. We also offer two different financing options and recommend that all pet owners explore the benefits of pet insurance.
