Monmouth Small Animal Hospital has been a pillar of the Monmouth community since 1989. Founded by Gregory Weech, the practice began its journey in an unlikely location-an old Dairy Queen building. With a vision to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to animals, Gregory transformed this space into a welcoming veterinary facility. His dedication and commitment to animal welfare laid the groundwork for the exceptional service Monmouth Small Animal Hospital is known for today.

In 1990, Gregory's brother, Geoffrey Weech, graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary School, joining the practice. Geoffrey's expertise further solidified Monmouth Small Animal Hospital's reputation for excellence. In 1993, Geoffrey purchased the hospital from his brother, continuing the legacy of providing personalized care and building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners.

Over the years, Monmouth Small Animal Hospital has expanded and evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. In 2007, Dr. Weech made the decision to remodel and enlarge the facility, doubling its size to create a spacious and modern environment. The expansion included additional examination rooms, a comfortable lobby area, and a state-of-the-art surgery suite with dedicated pre- and post-operative care spaces. This thoughtful investment reflected Dr. Weech's unwavering dedication to delivering the highest quality veterinary care possible.
