Welcome to West Lincoln Veterinary Clinic, a modern veterinary clinic offering the latest care for your beloved pet. Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your furry friend, and we strive to offer a wide range of services to meet all of your pet's needs.
We are proud to be led by Dr. Crystal Mitchem, MS, DVM, the clinic owner and veterinarian who oversees West Lincoln Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Mitchem is a dedicated and caring veterinarian who is committed to providing the highest level of care for her patients. She and her husband, Wayne, have two girls, Regan and Jordan, and their furry family members include 2 cats (Jinks & RC) and a chocolate lab (Moonpie), five 4-H sheep, a 4-H dairy steer, and 20 head of commercial cattle.
Our head receptionist, Jackie Tetreault, has been working in the animal care field since 1987. Jackie has a wealth of experience in all areas of animal care, including tech work, kennel work, grooming, and reception. She is a valuable member of our team and is always available to assist our clients with any questions or concerns they may have.
Services
At West Lincoln Veterinary Clinic, we are committed to providing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to help you take the best possible care of your pet. Our caring and well-trained staff is always available to assist you in determining what your pet(s) may need or just to answer any questions that you may have.
Diagnostics
We offer a full range of diagnostic services, including glucose monitoring, digital radiology, electrocardiogram (ECG), blood pressure, cytology, tonometry (eye pressure screening), pulse oximetry, hematocrit, in-house chemistry and blood count, full service outside laboratory with most results within 24 hours, skin scraping, fecal analysis, and dentistry.
Dentistry
Oral health is an important part of your pet's overall health, and we are committed to providing the best possible dental care for your pets. Our dental services include oral exams, ultrasonic scaling and polishing, extractions, and home dental care products and diets.
Geriatric Care
As your pet ages, they may require specialized care to ensure their continued health and well-being. We offer a range of geriatric care services, including arthritis management, prescription diets, chronic disease monitoring and treatment, and end of life care.
Surgery
We offer a wide range of surgical services, including general routine surgery and small animal surgery. We request that an exam is made prior to surgery and ask that you call ahead if there is a specific surgery in which you are looking for.
Urgent Care Visits
We understand that accidents and injuries can occur at any time, which is why we offer urgent care visits during office hours. If you think your pet needs medical attention right away, we are here for you. We will work with you to get your pet treatment as soon as possible.
Other Services
In addition to the services listed above, we also offer food and nutrition counseling, flea, tick and heartworm preventatives, microchip implantation and screening, treats and supplements, leashes and collars, Purina Pro Plan Food, Purina Veterinary Diets (prescription food), and outside compounding labs for special medicine.
We are also proud to offer referrals to regional specialty centers for orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, restorative dentistry, behavior, ophthalmology, and critical care.
