Dr. Simonson's passion for equine medicine began early in her life, as she grew up showing Saddlebreds in 10 and under classes. She went on to earn a degree from Southern Methodist University and Master of Science from the University of Georgia. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and became certified in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic.
