Sunbury Animal Hospital was founded in 1952 by Donald C. Kamsler, VMD. Starting on Catawissa Street in Sunbury, it has since grown into a 24-hour, 8-doctor practice in an 18,000 square foot building. Our mission is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care to our clients, their pets, and the agricultural community. We genuinely care about your pets and all animals! Our staff is passionate about veterinary medicine and are extremely well trained. We are a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which requires us to follow a high standard of care and protocols that we are inspected on routinely.

At Sunbury Animal Hospital, we offer a wide range of services including boarding and doggie daycare, chiropractor care, grooming, large animal laser therapy and rehab, surgical prescription refills, learning center wellness plans, and pet wellness reports. We also provide information on caring for a newborn kitten, rabies, dentistry, reading pet food labels, and whether to neuter your pet. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that every pet receives the best possible care.
