Welcome to Willapa Veterinary Service, where we are dedicated to providing compassionate veterinary care to the pets of Raymond and beyond. Founded by Dr. Kenneth Olson in 1988, our clinic has a rich history of serving the community. In 2021, Drs. Eric and Kathleen Sutten took over the ownership and are committed to continuing the legacy of excellent care.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced veterinarians, including Dr. Eric Sutten and Dr. Kathleen Sutten, who are passionate about delivering the best possible care for your pets. We also have a boarded veterinary surgeon, Dr. Jim Belknap, who specializes in advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Each member of our team is dedicated to building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring the health and well-being of your pets.

Dr. Eric Sutten, DVM

Dr. Eric Sutten obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2013. He has worked as a mixed animal practitioner and a small animal veterinarian, focusing on emergency medicine and critical care.

Dr. Kathleen Sutten, DVM

Dr. Kathleen Sutten graduated from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She has worked in emergency and general practice settings, with interests in emergency medicine, critical care, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Jim Belknap, DVM, DACVS, PhD

Dr. Jim Belknap is a trained and board-certified veterinary surgeon. He has spent most of his career in university veterinary referral hospitals, specializing in orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.
