Our goal is to practice quality large animal medicine in an ambulatory setting. Myrtle Beach Equine Clinic has been serving Horry County, South Carolina and surrounding areas since 2010. While the majority of our practice consists of equine patients, we also tend to a variety of other species. We have both digital radiography and ultrasonography equipment. We continue to advance our technology as we grow to offer the most up-to-date services to our clients. Our veterinarians have pursued additional formal education beyond veterinary school, making them more than just your average vet!
Our Team
Our team includes veterinarians Amanda Chang, DVM, CVA, and Nadia Saklou, DVM, candidate ACVIM. We also have a part-time veterinarian who is available to assist with cases. Each of our veterinarians has extensive experience in large animal medicine and is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your animals.
Service Areas
Our main service areas are Horry, Marion, and Georgetown Counties, South Carolina, and Brunswick and Columbus Counties, North Carolina. We offer a farm call service with a range of 1 hour from Longs, SC during the daytime. Appointments are available in other areas based on veterinarian availability. For after-hours emergencies, we are only able to guarantee services for established clients.
Our Clients
The Myrtle beach area is somewhat unique for the number of tourist attractions in the area. Besides individuals, we also provide services for many of our local attractions as well as local rescues and equine fundraisers. We are proud to serve a diverse range of clients, including local farms, equine centers, and even some of the local tourist attractions.
