Dr. Michael Bailey and His Dedication

Dr. Michael Bailey, the owner of Effingham Animal Hospital, has been a passionate advocate for animal health since his childhood. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, his love for veterinary medicine blossomed early on. He secured his first veterinary job at the tender age of 15, a testament to his dedication to the field. Dr. Bailey's journey led him to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

After gaining valuable experience in a north Georgia veterinary clinic, Dr. Bailey embarked on his dream of owning his own practice in 1998 when he purchased the Effingham Animal Hospital. For Dr. Bailey, the most rewarding aspect of his work is building lasting relationships with his clients and their pets. He views the trust placed in him by pet owners as a privilege and strives to provide compassionate and expert care to every animal that walks through the doors of Effingham Animal Hospital.
