St. Clair Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to St. Clair Veterinary Clinic, where our mission is to provide top-notch veterinary care to your beloved pets. Our story began with Dr. Klent Brown, who joined Dr. Gillespie's practice in Brownstown, Indiana, after graduating from Purdue University in 2000. It was during this time that Dr. Brown decided to become a practice owner. In 2001, he purchased the clinic and married soon-to-be-veterinarian Kim Brown. They settled next to the clinic in Brownstown while Kim was finishing vet school. The couple's journey continued with the merger of the practice with Brownstown Animal Hospital in 2003, after Kim graduated from vet school. Animal Hospital of Bedford was started by Dr. Brown and his partners in 2005, and it was here that the Browns became the sole owners in 2011. The following year, they purchased Stonebrook Animal Hospital in Bedford and merged the two locations at the original clinic on 16th Street. Dr. Cheryl Bauman joined the practice in 2015 and currently works full-time with Dr. Klent and Kim at this location. In 2007, Dr. Brown and his partners purchased St. Clair veterinary clinic in Scottsburg, and the Browns became the sole owners in 2011. Since then, Dr. Regan Greene has joined the practice in 2013. Dr. Klent Brown sees patients at both clinics, devoting time to team training and management. Our clinics are run as separate businesses, with all four veterinarians and 17 support staff working together to provide quality service, compassion, and up-to-date medicine and surgery. Dr. Brown's goal has always been to provide quality service for a competitive price, while continuously striving to improve.
